Highland Park’s (Lamberton) Memorial Conservatory around 1915

An early 20th century Postcard featuring what was then one of Rochester”s newest tourist attraction, the Botanic Gardens within Highland Parks’s Lamberton Memorial Conservatory. The structure opened in 1911 and immediately added to Rochester and Highland Park’s reputation as a center off horticultural expertise and collections. Lamberton’s floral displays have changed seasonally since its beginning -one reason which has endeared it to local gardening enthusiasts for generations.
